I've been trying to stay strong after PTSD.. it's been a journey from pretending to be okay to actually accepting life with it's challenges. Trying to fight grief is a lost battle but accepting grief and living through the moments, days and years of grief takes immense continuous effort on my part. It's not an easy morning to wake up to because you would rather wish those moments were a nightmare and you just need to wake up. It's gotten better day after day. PTSD is like a black hole pulling me inside. Luckily I have a strong support group which I can lean for tough times. I truly believe the mind is stronger than you know and with a support group it's easier to wake up feeling positive, almost hopeful. Mental health is as important as physical health. Let's go find your tribe, it's a individual journey yet you don't have to be alone. Giving myself some daily dose of self love does trick.
