For the past couple of years, I have seriously struggled with anxiety and low mood. In that time, I was told repeatedly that I “don’t have enough problems to feel this way”. At this point, I just didn’t want to exist anymore. I have since sorted out my mental health, but I cannot stress just how important it is that break this stigma around Mental Health! Because of this stigma, I felt like I shouldn’t seek help, like I wasn’t “bad enough” to have something wrong with me, like I was “attention seeking”, when in reality, I was struggling.
