4 years ago I suffered very bad bullying at the age of 14. I would sit in my classroom at lunch and breaktime so I wouldn’t have to go out with the other kids. My anxiety got worse and worse. 4 years later and I still struggle to maintain eye contact in conversations, and I’m very socially awkward. But life is good, and I’m hopeful one day I’ll be able to go up to a stranger and say “hey” without fearing the worst. I found my best friend through all the darkness and gradually I’m seeing an improvement in my confidence and my social anxiety is reducing. Find a friend to lean on, someone that will give you confidence and in the end it will all be okay. Find a passion to focus on, become motivated and soon your believe anything is possible. You (Jessica Walsh) inspired me to peruse my love of graphic design, now I’m in my first year of University studying BA Hons graphic design while doing freelance here and there #staypositive #nevergiveup
