I turned 45 on February 23rd, the same day my cousin, 57, passed away from congestive heart failure. His brother passed away at 58, 3 years ago after loosing both legs to diabetes. I'm a single child & those two men are my only cousins so loosing them was like loosing my only brothers. They left for my family to take care of their 82 year old mother. Thankfully, she is in great health & spirit. My parents are both 77. My Dad was recently diagnosed with Dementia. My Mom is very negative with everything so being in the same room with her sometimes is very draining. My husband of 23 years was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis several years ago. He has not been able to work for a long time now. Our son is 15. He is the most caring, compassionate kid I could ever imagine a child being. I have been with my employer for 20+ years now. I love my job but it never gets easy to leave my family every morning & come to work. I suffer with depression & anxiety. Sometimes I don't like the way the meds make me feel. Sometimes I feel like my head is cloudy when it needs to be very clear. I struggle the most with the "balance" of work, home, family & every day life.
